North Korean Graffiti

Graffiti that I found under a bridge at Inner Mt. Chilbo, North Korea.

  1. Wow thanks for posting this, a first perhaps. The only graffiti I have ever seen on my trips to the DPRK has been the scratching on some of the windows on the carriages in the Pyongyang metro. But I have always assumed that these scratchings are not produced by North Koreans, but rather they were on the windows when the trains were purchased second-hand from Eastern European countries.

    • Yes, all that graffiti was pre-existing, as you probably noticed none is in Korean Characters.

  2. Interesting, what does it say? Nothing anti-government, I presume?
