    Hey Mate,

Met you in Beijing then in the hotel watching Kim Jung Un’s speech on the big B-day. Put me down on your mailing lists for future visits in 2013. Just make sure you get the beers/guns/girls excursion on the itinerary.

    • Hi Joe – Beers/Guns/Girls will be on every itinerary for every trip I make to the DPRK! Yeah, keep in touch, hope for Mt. Paektu for the summer 2013.

Mount Paekdu is well worth the trip. As for the Guns/Girls part, it was one area where the women guides also carried AK-47’s . The woman soldier guide at Kim Jong Il’s alleged birthplace was probably one of the most beautiful woman I encountered (and it wasn’t just the uniform and the automatic weapon). This was all in 2005 so likely times have changed.
